It's Huckleberry Time Each year the the trailsides are dotted with tasty mountain huckleberries. Local chefs create purple desserts and savory sauces. Rendezvous Grill is serving fresh huckleberry ice cream, huckleberry sauces with several meals and huckleberry desserts through September. The Resort at the Mountain (Highlands/Tartans Restaurant) is serving huckleberry ice cream and cobbler (with vanilla bean ice cream) thru September.
